


Every Sunday morning Jalan Horley and surrounding streets in Ipoh are transformed into an open-air flea market, called Memory Lane, selling antiques, new and second-hand goods, personal goods, collectables and everything imaginable.
These pictures are photographed over a period of several months documenting the life in Memory Lane, an open-air flea market in Ipoh, Malaysia which operates every Sunday morning on closed Jalan Horley and Jalan Lim Bo Seng. The flea market has also spilled over onto surrounding streets and alleys with many traders set up their stalls on the pavements. The flea market trade in antiques, new and second-hand goods, personal goods, collectables and everything imaginable. Many food and drink stalls also operate in the area to feed the hungry and thirsty visitors and traders. The flea market attracts many locals and tourists every week seeking out a bargain, a hard to find item, an antique or just a sentimental and everyday item.
