Surrounding you are the remnants of ancient trading crossroads between Kashgar, Tibet, and Kashmir. Even in the most remote valleys, you will find fortified Tibetan monasteries. Blending into the hills are farming villages. Traversing the sparse land are nomads. Roaming the land are large animals like ibex, Tibetan wolves, and urial.
