Life on the lake-Vietnamese living in Tonle Sap-

Tonle Sap lake is the largest fresh water lake in south east asia. The lake is located in the middle of Cambodia country. There are floating villages more than 100. cambodians, Vietnamese and Khmer Muslims are live in the lake. Kompong Luong floating village. The population is about 4,000. 70% of people living in this village are Vietnamese. There are Christian and Buddhist. They have continued in the faith of their fathers. Most of them live as a petty fishermen. Their ancestors came to Cambodia from Vietnam as an emigrant fishermen more than 100 years ago. They are born on Tonle Sap lake and buried on the land after dying. This custom has been handed down from generation to generation. It is their view of life and death that they inherited.
