Decide who can do what, at every level

Permission are granular yet simple to apply. Files and collections can have an access levels, which decide who sees what. People can also be given roles, which decide what they can do with the things they can see. It's all about staying flexible and in control.

Set access levels for files and collections

Set access at the file or collection level, so the restriction always remains in place, no matter where the file or collection shows up.

  • 01

    Private

Accessible to you, and anyone you add by name. It's the default that keeps files private.

  • 02

    Library

Access for everyone who holds a role in a library, depending on what their role permits.

  • 03

    Public

Access for anyone with the relevant link. This is how you show and share files with the wider world.

  • 04

    Configurable

We've designed access permissions for control and flexibility. Just tell us what you need.

Library roles

Roles that match your organisation

Every permission is a switch. Choose as many options as you need to create the right role - view assets, view collections, download, upload, edit, delete. It's easy and flexible and you can build as many roles as you want.

  • Build a role from any combination of permissions. It's yours to configure.
  • Narrow permissions to access levels, or to a person’s own content
  • Roles are set per library, so a person can be a manager in one and a viewer in the next
  • Change what a role allows, and everyone holding it changes instantly
